Putin Agrees to US Plan, Sets Condition for Ceasefire

Putin has agreed to the US proposals and set a condition: what is expected next week. The President of the Russian Federation has provided details regarding the settlement plan for the Ukraine issue proposed by the United States. Vladimir Putin clarified that at this stage, it is not yet about ready draft agreements, but a list of issues for discussion.

Referring to the US-Ukraine talks held in Geneva, Putin noted that the parties have agreed on a 28-point document, which is divided into 4 main components. "All of this was conveyed to us, and in general, we agree that it can be laid as the foundation for future agreements," he stated.

To make the process more concrete, new discussions are expected. Putin confirmed that for this purpose, an American delegation is scheduled to arrive in Moscow as early as next week.

In parallel, the President of Russia issued a message concerning European security. He emphasized that Russia is ready to formally record that it has no intention of attacking Europe.

Nevertheless, for the resolution of the situation on the battlefield, Moscow is putting forward a clear precondition. Speaking about the prospect of peace, Putin stressed that military operations will cease only when Ukrainian troops withdraw from their occupied positions.
