President Khachaturyan Receives Queen Mathilde of Belgium

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Queen Mathilde of Belgium. This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Office of the President of the RA.

The President welcomed the Queen's visit to Armenia and highly praised Her Majesty's leadership as an advocate for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

"It is a great honor for us to host you. The purpose of your visit, the advocacy of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, will certainly be very useful for the Republic of Armenia so that we can fully fulfill the obligations we have undertaken for 2030. We highly appreciate your leadership in this field and the fact that you are engaged in such important issues of concern to humanity," the President said.

Queen Mathilde expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and noted that she is impressed with Armenia and is happy to be in Armenia on the occasion of advocating for the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
