President Khachaturyan Meets Armenian Assembly Leadership

The President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Executive Director of the Armenian Assembly of America, Bryan Ardouny, Co-Chairman of the Board of Trustees Oscar Tatossian, and former Co-Chairman of the Board of Trustees Anthony Barsamian.

President Khachaturyan highly praised the work of the Armenian Assembly of America, emphasizing its importance in conveying objective information about Armenia and our region not only to the American but also to the international community.

He also highlighted the Assembly's constant engagement with pan-Armenian issues, aimed at deepening Armenian-American cooperation and enhancing Armenia's role in the region and on international platforms.

Referring to the programs implemented by the Assembly in Armenia, the President of the Republic emphasized their significance for the country's development.

During the conversation, views were also exchanged on the importance of organizing the 17th Conference of the Parties on Biodiversity (COP-17) to be held in Armenia in 2026.

The meeting discussed issues related to Armenia's relations with neighboring countries, as well as the domestic political and general atmosphere. Concluding the meeting, the President of the Republic answered the guests' questions, touching upon various realities of domestic political, economic, and public life.
