Police Find 243 Cannabis Plants in Tashir Resident's Yard

The Tashir department of the Community Police received operational information that a resident of the Van district had grown cannabis and poppies in his yard, and also kept dried cannabis leaves.

On September 13, at 11:35 a.m., a 67-year-old man was arrested and taken to the department. 20 grams of cannabis seeds were found on him.

Within the framework of the initiated criminal proceedings, during an inspection carried out on the same day, 243 cannabis plants were found on the man's land, and 53 dried cannabis stalks with a total weight of 2.3 kg were found in the yard. The owner also presented 280 grams of cannabis seeds and 110 grams of dry mass.

The man has been transferred to a detention facility.
