Poland to Restrict Benefits for Ukrainian Refugees

Karol Nawrocki has stated that payments under the "800+" program and access to healthcare should only be received by Ukrainians who are officially working in Poland.

According to him, this is a matter of social justice, and Poles should be "equal" to Ukrainians. The President emphasized that he has presented his version of the law and has called on the parliament to revise the document within two weeks.

"800+" is a Polish social initiative that guarantees a monthly payment of 800 zlotys for every child under 18, regardless of family income.
