Poland Considers NATO Article 4 Talks After Drone Incursion

The Prime Minister of Poland began the government session by announcing that Poland is ready to repel such provocations and attacks, and the procedures for such cases are already in place. "There is no reason to panic. Life will continue as usual.
We will inform the citizens about all events to ensure clarity on what is happening in Poland's skies and on the border. Currently, there are no grounds for introducing restrictions that could complicate the lives of citizens," stated Donald Tusk.
Polish media, however, predict some changes, citing their sources.
According to these publications, Poland is considering the possibility of applying Article 4 of NATO, which allows any member state of the Alliance to initiate consultations if its territorial integrity, political independence, or security is threatened.
This means that a NATO member country, feeling threatened, can formally invite all allies to discuss the situation and joint measures.
This does not mean an automatic military response (like Article 5), but it can lead to diplomatic steps, strengthening of defense, deployment of troops, or additional security guarantees.
