Poland Admits Its Own F-16 Missile Hit House

Polish authorities have officially confirmed that the missile that fell on a residential house in the east of the country was launched from a Polish F-16 fighter jet, and not from an unmanned aerial vehicle.

Tomasz Siemoniak, the minister coordinator of special services, announced this on the air of the TVN television channel.

Previously, Warsaw had stated that the building was damaged by a UAV. However, as a result of investigations published by the media, it turned out that it was actually a missile launched by the armed forces.

"Everything indicates that this was a missile launched from our aircraft with the aim of protecting Poland and our citizens. The military is ready to compensate for the damage caused," noted Siemoniak.

According to him, the investigation is ongoing, and experts continue to study the fragments to clarify all the circumstances.
