Pilot Killed in Light Aircraft Crash Near Moscow

Near the town of Lukhovitsy in the Moscow region, a light-engine aircraft has crashed, the pilot was killed. The prosecutor's office and the Investigative Committee have launched an investigation.

According to TASS, the cause of the crash was pilot error.

According to the Telegram channel Shot, the aircraft in question is a light-engine "Aviatica" type. Emergency services told TASS that the cause of the crash was pilot error. As the Telegram channel "112" writes, the deceased pilot of the private plane was 60 years old.

Other sources indicate that the pilot was 65 years old. The crashed plane was completely shattered upon hitting the ground but did not cause a fire.
