Pezeshkian: Peace in Caucasus is Strategic for Iran

For Iran, peace in the Caucasus is of strategic importance, and we support the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said this on August 19 during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"Iran values the immutability of the borders of the states in the region; changing them could become a cause for geopolitical rivalry," he noted.
