Peskov: No Substantive Putin-Aliyev Talks in Beijing

The Kremlin spokesman commented on the Putin-Aliyev meeting that finally took place in Beijing on September 3.

More accurately, it was not a meeting but a fleeting exchange of greetings.

The Kremlin representative confirmed that the contact was no more than what was presented.

"The leaders shook hands, but this time there was no substantive conversation," TASS reports Peskov's comment.
