Pashinyan Hopes for Peace in Message to Zelenskyy

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the occasion of the state holiday, Independence Day.

"The relations between Armenia and Ukraine are based on the centuries-old friendship and mutual respect of our two peoples. Armenia is interested in the development of mutually beneficial relations with Ukraine.

I am hopeful that peace will soon prevail in Ukraine, and in conditions of stability, we will manage through joint steps to give a new impetus to the further development of interstate relations between Armenia and Ukraine based on mutual respect, for the benefit of our peoples.

Taking this opportunity, I wish you, Your Excellency, good health and success, and the friendly people of Ukraine, lasting peace and stability," the message reads.
