Peace Without Details

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today congratulated the members of the executive on the establishment of peace, and after the government session, he met with journalists and presented the new realities formed in our country and the region as a result of the Washington agreements. If peace is established, then, according to him, trade ties will be established between Armenia and Azerbaijan very soon, and they will develop over time.

According to Pashinyan, the third point of the Washington Declaration states that the parties attach great importance to internal transport links, that is, links from Armenia to Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan, as well as links from Azerbaijan to Azerbaijan through the territory of Armenia. He assured that everything will happen in accordance with the principle of reciprocity, including in terms of communication with third countries.

The Prime Minister also insisted that not a single square millimeter of Armenia's territory can be outside the country's jurisdiction and control. "Yes, there are occupied territories," he said, adding that this is a problem for both us and Azerbaijan.
