The Republic of Armenia has moved to a completely different stage in its history due to the fact that peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan. August 8 is the culmination of a long process. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the 7th congress of the "Civil Contract" party.
"For 1 year and 7 months, no serviceman has been killed or wounded from shooting on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. This is peace," emphasized Nikol Pashinyan.
"Since independence, we have not had such a 1 year and 7 months. This is peace, or this is what peace is, and our political task is very simple, to make this 1 year and 7 months become 2 years and 7 months, 3 years and 7 months, 5 years and 7 months, 50 years and 7 months, and so on and for it to apply to all the borders of the RA," said the RA Prime Minister.
