Pashinyan on Aliyev's Remarks: What Is History's Starting Point?

The conflict of more than thirty years is resolved politically, but it's impossible to flip a switch and stop the brakes socio-psychologically. That is why it periodically manifests in Armenia and Azerbaijan at the level of the press, experts, and even the leaders of the countries, Pashinyan said during a forum organized by the "Orbeli" center.

"This does not mean we should forget history, but we should not become reproducers of history either," he said. At the same time, he posed a rhetorical question: and what is the legitimate starting point of history?

It should be noted that yesterday Aliyev stated that "there is no Lake Sevan, there is Lake Goycha; almost all toponyms in the territory of present-day Armenia have Azerbaijani origins."
