Pashinyan on 2025's Disproportionate Defense Spending

In 2025, compared to 2024, we had a disproportionately large defense expenditure, and we directed part of it to the repayment of future debts and obligations, including in the defense sector. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, during the session of the National Assembly on September 10.

"If not for the sharp, disproportionate increase of 115 billion drams in 2025, we would have had a natural growth from 2023-2026," said Pashinyan.
