Pashinyan Meets Outgoing Iranian Ambassador Sobhani

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mehdi Sobhani, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

The Prime Minister thanked the ambassador for the close cooperation and noted that in recent years, cooperation between Armenia and Iran in all fields has risen to a new level. The head of the country emphasized Mehdi Sobhani's personal contribution in this matter. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of the official visit of the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, to Armenia last month, which gave a new impetus to the consistent development and expansion of bilateral relations.

Mehdi Sobhani also thanked the Prime Minister and the RA Government for the active and effective dialogue, emphasizing that during his tenure, he made every effort to strengthen bilateral ties. The ambassador expressed his gratitude for being awarded the Order of Friendship and noted that he will continue to do everything possible to deepen and strengthen RA-IRI relations in the future.

The Prime Minister wished Ambassador Sobhani success in his future activities.
