Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Armenian pavilion at the Expo 2025 world exhibition in Osaka. The Armenian pavilion, titled "Pillars of Today and Tomorrow," presents Armenia's leading innovative programs, cultural heritage, investment opportunities, and advanced educational initiatives. Those in charge noted that the number of visitors to the Armenian pavilion has exceeded one million since the exhibition's launch.
Afterward, the opening ceremony of the event dedicated to Armenia's National Day took place, during which Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Deputy Commissioner General of the World Expo, Shigetoshi Ikeyama, delivered speeches. "We have arrived in Osaka to share the achievements of present-day Armenia, which are based on our rich history and culture, and our vision of a peaceful and prosperous future based on the philosophy of economic and technological progress and innovative education.
In Armenia's pavilion, titled 'Pillars of Today and Tomorrow,' four of the pillars symbolize Armenia's 'today': history, culture, innovation, and regional opportunities. The other four pillars, symbolizing Armenia's future, represent the philosophy of technological, innovative education, Armenia's vision for the future of learning and education, in the context of which Armenian future-oriented educational initiatives are presented: Tumo, COAF, Armath, and new projects put forward by Armenia like 'Academic City' and 'Engineering City'," the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia noted in particular.
He added that participation in this largest event of the economic world in Osaka provides an exceptional opportunity to present Armenia's economic, cultural, technological, educational, and tourism appeal not only to the Japanese people but also to the world, creating new prospects for the further development and deepening of cooperation in these areas.
Let's recall that the Armenian pavilion will operate within the framework of the EXPO 2025 exhibition until October 13.
