Pashinyan and Macron Discuss Strategic Ties in Paris

A meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, took place at the Élysée Palace.
The interlocutors discussed a number of issues on the agenda of the strategic relations between Armenia and France. In particular, topics related to cooperation in the economy, infrastructure, and other sectors were addressed. Nikol Pashinyan and Emmanuel Macron once again emphasized that the bilateral cooperation is of strategic importance and expressed their readiness to continue consistent steps in this direction.
Next, issues of regional significance were discussed. The President of France once again congratulated on the establishment of peace with Azerbaijan and stressed France's unconditional support for Armenia's territorial integrity and the strengthening of peace.
Views were exchanged on the TRIPP project and the steps being taken towards the unblocking of communication routes in the region. In this context, the Prime Minister referred to the progress of the ongoing work.
Nikol Pashinyan and Emmanuel Macron also discussed issues related to the further development of Armenia-European Union cooperation. The parties highlighted the importance of the consistent expansion of relations under the new RA-EU partnership agenda.
