Pashinyan: Government is the Bearer of Democratic Values

Who is the bearer of democracy and democratic values? Let me say that in this case, the bearer of those values is the government. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the "Democracy Forum" on September 22. "With the recent changes and questions in the political ideological concept, we are opening a wider field for democracy," noted Nikol Pashinyan.

"The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia also spoke about the "greatest problem of democracy." In his opinion, there is no organic connection between the judicial power and the people. Under the current Constitution, the judicial power not only does not derive from the people, but the connection between the people and the judicial power is severed, whereas in our country, power belongs to the people. To solve this problem, he intends to create an institute of jurors in Armenia, the Prime Minister of the RA announced at the "Democracy Forum."
