Are Pashinyan's Claims About Archbishop Ezras Being a KGB Agent Baseless?

Pashinyan's claims about Archbishop Ezras being a KGB agent are based on his own websites. This was reported by Civilnet. On October 22, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced from the parliament rostrum that Archbishop Ezras Nersisyan, the brother of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, is a "KGB agent," citing information that "appeared in the press."
However, #CivilNetCheck had found that the "press" to which the prime minister was referring is limited to websites belonging to his family and party members, which had published an "anonymous letter" claiming, without factual evidence, that Archbishop Ezras Nersisyan was recruited by the USSR State Security Committee.
#CivilNetCheck sent two questions to the prime minister's office.
First, whether the prime minister's statement was based exclusively on the anonymous letter from civic.am, or whether he had other sources.
Second, whether the executive branch had appealed to law enforcement to verify this information.
The prime minister's office, violating the five-day deadline set by the "Law on Freedom of Information," responded only two weeks later, on November 6. In the letter, the office avoided answering the questions, instead informing that the prime minister had answered them on November 6 during a Q&A with journalists, the media outlet reports.
