Pashinyan, EU's Kos Discuss New Partnership Agenda

In Brussels, a meeting took place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the European Union Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the new RA-EU partnership agenda and the implementation of the ambitious strategic actions defined by it.
The parties touched upon the upcoming tasks and the prospects for deepening cooperation, emphasizing that in recent years, Armenia-EU relations have acquired a new quality and depth.
Prime Minister Pashinyan highly praised the EU's consistent support in the effective implementation of institutional reforms in our country and stressed the RA Government's interest in introducing EU standards in all spheres.
In turn, Marta Kos emphasized the EU's readiness to continue steps to deepen and expand ties with the RA in various directions.
The parties noted with satisfaction the fact of an effective dialogue on visa liberalization and mentioned that significant progress has been recorded in this direction as well.
Thoughts were also exchanged on the opportunities created in the region as a result of the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the TRIPP project in our country, and the implementation of the "Crossroads of Peace."
