Pashinyan Congratulates China on 76th Anniversary

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent congratulatory messages to the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and the Premier of the State Council, Li Qiang, on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The message addressed to the President reads:

"Please accept my warmest congratulations on the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

China's path of strengthening statehood, developing and modernizing the economy, as well as positioning the country in the international arena, is truly impressive.

The successes recorded in various fields of Armenia-China cooperation in recent years are also the result of mutual commitment and continuous joint efforts, thanks to which the bilateral relations between our countries were raised to a qualitatively new level of strategic partnership.

I remember with gratitude the warm reception I received in China a month ago and the effective discussions I had with you on bilateral relations and regional developments. Undoubtedly, the results of the visit and the agreements reached at a high level open a new historical page in the bilateral interstate relations between Armenia and China.

I am hopeful that with joint active efforts, we will give an additional impetus to the further deepening of the upwardly developing relations based on mutual trust and respect between our countries, enriching the framework of the strategic partnership with ambitious goals and directions."

The message addressed to the Premier of the State Council reads:

"I warmly congratulate you and the friendly Chinese people on the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

I note with satisfaction that the centuries-old friendship between Armenia and China, based on mutual respect, trust, and strong historical ties, has entered a qualitatively new level with the strategic partnership established between our countries, which provides an opportunity to outline the ways for the further development of cooperation between our countries in all spheres of mutual interest.

I am confident that in the future our bilateral relations will continue to expand, recording new achievements.

I wish you good health and success, and the friendly people of China prosperity and progress."
