Pashinyan Attends Canonization of Ignatius Maloyan in Vatican

The canonization ceremony of Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan and six other Blesseds took place in St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, presided over by His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, was present at the ceremony.
During the ceremony, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV greeted the leaders participating in the ceremony, among whom were the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, and other high-ranking guests. During the canonization ceremony, an Armenian prayer was also offered in honor of Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan. His Holiness conveyed his words and blessing to all those present.
Within the framework of the event, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a brief contact with the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella.
