Pashinyan: Ararat Symbol Never Discussed with Turkey

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan responded to the question about the absence of Ararat on the stamp, emphasizing that such an issue has never been discussed between Armenia and Turkey within the framework of any negotiation.

According to him, the problem related to the stamp was put into circulation months ago, when there were not even theoretical agreements, including regarding the possible visit of the special representative of Turkey.

The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of his own attitude towards the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia, stressing:

"The key factor of our national security strategy is legitimacy. This means that we ourselves must recognize and do recognize the territorial integrity, sovereignty of Armenia, and internationally recognized principles."
