Pashinyan, Aliyev Respond to Trump's Peace Post

Trump had published a photo taken in Washington on August 8 and wrote that it was a great honor to help settle the war with Azerbaijan and Armenia and at the same time to become friends with these two great leaders and peoples. "This will be an eternal friendship for me, but more importantly, for the United States of America," Trump had written.
Yerevan and Baku promptly responded to the emotional reminders from Washington.
The RA Prime Minister was the first to respond. Pashinyan wrote that he reaffirms his commitment to the institutionalization of peace and the further work on the implementation of TRIPP. He is grateful for "mediating that historic agreement with Azerbaijan, which no one had achieved before."
The President of Azerbaijan responded a little later. Ilham Aliyev, in response to Trump's post, published another photo and wrote that he highly appreciates Trump's role in advancing the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. In this case, the chosen photograph is interesting.
Aliyev published a joint photo of himself and Pashinyan. Moreover, Pashinyan is not stooped, grimacing, or in some awkward position, as is the case in most of the photos published in the Azerbaijani segment. This time, the published photo was a joint picture of Pashinyan and Aliyev at the White House, in front of a canvas depicting Donald Trump.
