In Pakistan, three major rivers—the Ravi, Sutlej, and Chenab—have overflowed their banks, causing massive floods. 250,000 people have been evacuated, and the total number of people affected exceeds 1,200,000. At least 800 people have died. Many are considered missing.
Search and rescue operations are ongoing. Over 700 camps have been set up to distribute food, medicine, and first aid supplies. According to meteorologists' forecasts, the heavy rains will continue in Pakistan.
