Over 640 Armenian Vehicles Stuck in Queue at Verkhniy Lars

According to the latest data, 1907 vehicles are registered in the queue at the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint, of which 647 are Armenian.

The reason for the congestion is the large flow of citizens traveling from Russia to Georgia and Armenia for tourism purposes.

Let us recall that the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international highway is the only functioning land route connecting Armenia to Russia.
