One More Case in Tsaghkadzor Casino Incident Sent to Court

On January 24, 2025, the Prosecutor General's Office informed that materials separated from the criminal proceedings regarding M.S., G.D., and D.M., security employees of N.Ts., participants in the hooliganism and open theft committed with the use of a weapon at a casino operating in Tsaghkadzor city on October 26, 2024, were submitted to the Kotayk Province Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction.
Public criminal prosecution against the security employees of N.Ts. was initiated on January 13, 2025, under Article 253, Part 2, points 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code (robbery committed by a group of persons with prior agreement by damaging a device intended for the protection of property), as well as under Article 474, Part 2, point 1 (aiding a person committing a crime by a group of persons with prior agreement).
During the preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings being examined in the Investigative Committee, on September 4, 2025, the prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against two more security employees of N.Ts., A.A. and A.M., under Article 253, Part 2, points 1 and 2, and Article 474, Part 2, point 1 of the Criminal Code.
The part of the criminal proceedings separated regarding A.A., with the indictment confirmed by the prosecutor, was submitted to the Kotayk Province Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction on October 31, 2025.
A search has been declared for A.M.
Notice: A person accused of a crime is considered innocent until his guilt is proven in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code, by a court verdict that has entered into legal force.
