3 Killed, 8 Injured in North Carolina Marina Shooting from Boat

Three people were killed and eight others were injured when someone opened fire from a boat on Saturday evening at people in a waterfront snack bar at a North Carolina marina. According to NBC News, citing the Southport city administration, the boat stopped in front of the American Fish Company building at the Southport Marina, and an armed person opened fire, then fled via the Intracoastal Waterway.

Southport authorities in their statement urged residents of the area to stay indoors and report any suspicious person to authorities by calling 911.
