Nobel Peace Prize Winner Chosen Before Gaza Deal

The Nobel Committee held its final meeting on October 6 and, accordingly, selected this year's Peace Prize laureate even before the Gaza peace agreement was concluded. This is reported by Agence France-Presse.

"The Nobel Committee's last meeting took place on Monday... The final touches were made on Monday, but we never reveal when the Nobel Committee makes a decision," Erik Osheim, a representative of the Norwegian Nobel Institute, told the agency.
