No Timeline for Opening of Armenia-Turkey Border

The exact date of the opening of the Armenian-Turkish border is unknown. A diplomatic source in Ankara told RIA Novosti this.

The agency's interlocutor recalled Erdogan's words that the process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia will proceed in parallel with the peace process between Baku and Yerevan.

Turkey notes that it sees "positive steps" in this direction, but is in no hurry to name a deadline for the opening of the border with Armenia.

It is recalled that on August 8, the leaders of the USA, Armenia, and Azerbaijan signed a joint declaration at the White House on the peaceful settlement of the conflict between Yerevan and Baku.
