No Concrete Steps Against Israel in Doha Summit Draft: Reuters

A meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Qatar, Araghchi and al-Thani, took place in Doha on the eve of the extraordinary summit of the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. This is reported by official Iranian sources.

Bilateral relations between the two countries, the regional situation, as well as international events, including the nuclear issue and Iran's diplomatic efforts in the relevant negotiations, were discussed. In addition, attention was paid to Israel's attack on Qatar. The summit will take place on September 15.

Incidentally, there has already been an information leak that the draft resolution to be adopted at the Arab-Islamic summit in Doha does not mention any diplomatic or economic steps against Israel.

In addition, it is known that the draft resolution condemns Israel's attacks on Doha and presents it as a destabilizing step. The countries participating in the summit, however, oppose "Israel's plans to impose a new reality on the region."
