Olympic champion, the top scorer in the history of Moscow "Spartak," Nikita Simonyan, has passed away at the age of 100. Spartak's greatest number 9 scored 160 goals for the club, remaining an unattainable record holder for more than six decades. After finishing his career, Simonyan also succeeded as a coach: with Moscow "Spartak," he won the USSR championship in 1962 and 1969, and in 1973, under his leadership, Yerevan's "Ararat" won the USSR championship and the Cup.
