Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has submitted a formal request for a presidential pardon to President Isaac Herzog amid his ongoing corruption trial, reports Israel's Channel 12. Earlier, US President Donald Trump had sent a letter to Herzog, urging him to stop the criminal prosecution against Netanyahu and grant the prime minister a pardon.
