Mountaineer Dies on Khan Tengri After 21 Days Stranded

Mountaineer Natalya Nagovitsina has died while climbing Khan Tengri peak. She had broken her leg and spent 21 days alone on the mountain slope. This was recorded by a drone. Several Russian and foreign teams tried to rescue her; one of the rescuers even died as a result of one of those attempts. Later, specialists abandoned that idea. And later, they also abandoned attempts to evacuate the mountaineer's body at that time due to unfavorable weather conditions.
