Brother Stabs brother's Accused Murderer in Lori Courtroom

During a court hearing in the Lori region, the brother of a murdered 21-year-old young man stabbed one of the main defendants in his brother's murder, Erik Dadivanyan, after which he fled.

According to information spread in the media, the tragic incident took place on the night of July 9-10, 2024, in Stepanavan. Four defendants, during an argument, inflicted at least 5 blows to the head and abdomen of Hayk Maghaqyan with blunt, hard, and sharp instruments, as a result of which the latter died.

After that, the defendant Erik Dadivanyan, along with Gor Nazaryan and another, yet unidentified person, moved Maghaqyan's body from the apartment to a place called "Gorodok." There they hid the body, partially burning his clothes and covering his body with soil and stones.

The revenge attempt took place during the court hearing on October 27. The State Department of Criminal Intelligence informed the media that the stabbed Dadivanyan was operated on, and his condition is assessed as stable.
