Mirzoyan, Wadephul Discuss Armenia-Germany Ties

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with German Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul.

Emphasizing the significant foundations of cooperation established between Armenia and Germany, the interlocutors discussed new opportunities for deepening relations.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Johann Wadephul exchanged views on the current challenges for democratic processes.

"Armenia views the EU, including Germany, as an important partner on its chosen path of democratic development, which is reflected in the content of the relations between our countries," noted Minister Mirzoyan.

Referring to the established peace in the region, the Armenian Foreign Minister presented the work being carried out towards the implementation of the agreements reached in Washington on August 8. Minister Mirzoyan thanked the German Foreign Minister for his continued attention to regional issues and the development of cooperation with Armenia.
