Mirzoyan, French Senate President Discuss Strategic Partnership

On October 23, in Paris, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, had a meeting with the President of the French Senate, Gérard Larcher. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces, Cédric Perrin, the Chairman of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the Senate, Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, and the Vice-Chairman of the Senate Committee on European Affairs, Alain Cadec. 
The interlocutors discussed the development of the strategic partnership between Armenia and France, emphasizing that the dynamically developing relations cover all key areas. Future steps were discussed. The meeting included a detailed reference to the developments in the South Caucasus. 
Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest developments, the vision of the RA for the development of the region in the conditions of peace established with Azerbaijan, including the best realization of the potential to become an important communication hub. At the end of the meeting with the President of the French Senate, Minister Mirzoyan made a note in the Senate's guest book of honor, the "Golden Book": 
"I reaffirm my deep gratitude to President Gérard Larcher, as well as to all members of the Senate, for their constant commitment and decisive voice in favor of the exceptional Armenia-France relations. May these exceptional relations continue to develop, for the benefit of the universal values we profess, a strategic partnership based on a common history and unwavering friendship."
