Mirzoyan, Christensen Discuss US-Armenia Partnership

Within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the U.S. Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security, Brent Christensen.

The interlocutors discussed the implementation of programs aimed at the development of the strategic partnership between Armenia and the United States. Both sides emphasized the active dynamics of the work towards implementing the agreements recorded in the bilateral memorandums signed in Washington on August 8 regarding cooperation in the fields of energy and artificial intelligence.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Brent Christensen exchanged views on regional developments, as well as on issues of Armenia-U.S. interaction on multilateral platforms.
