Mirzoyan, Budrys Discuss Armenia-Lithuania, EU Ties

On September 29, in Warsaw, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Kęstutis Budrys. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed new opportunities for deepening the partnership between Armenia and Lithuania, in line with the dynamics of bilateral political dialogue and the friendship built on common values.
It is noted that Minister Mirzoyan thanked Lithuania for its support for Armenia's democratic agenda, the strengthening of its resilience, as well as the deepening of its interaction with the EU.
"Reference was made to the upcoming contacts on the EU platform and the existing mechanisms for promoting cooperation in sectoral directions. Ararat Mirzoyan and Kęstutis Budrys exchanged views on regional developments. The Lithuanian minister welcomed the agreements reached in Washington on August 8, including the pre-signing of the peace agreement," the statement from the department reads.
The RA Foreign Minister emphasized the opportunities offered by increasing regional interconnectedness through the opening of communications under the agreed-upon fundamental principles.
