Mirzoyan, UN Women Chief Discuss Women's Role in Peacebuilding

Within the framework of his working visit, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the Executive Director of the UN Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, Sima Bahous.

The interlocutors discussed issues of promoting women's leadership, also referring to the steps taken by the RA in this direction.

Both sides emphasized the important role of women in the process of reconciliation between societies and the consolidation of peace in post-conflict conditions.
