Mirzoyan: Azerbaijan Demands Constitutional Change

Azerbaijan continues to consider the amendment of the RA Constitution as a precondition for signing the peace agreement. This was stated by RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, emphasizing that this is the only precondition of the Azerbaijani side.

"The RA has never undertaken and will not undertake an obligation to any third party to change the RA Constitution. This is part of our domestic agenda. Yes, Azerbaijan continues to link it to the signing of the agreement and considers it a condition. We do not accept that connection," said Ararat Mirzoyan.
