Minister Andreasyan Inspects Genocide Memorial Renovations

RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and Museum-Institute to get acquainted on-site with the progress of the renovation works being carried out in the area. The Minister was accompanied by the Secretary General of the ESCS Ministry, Hasmik Hakobyan.

The progress of the work was presented by the Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Edita Gzoyan, members of the architectural group for the renovation of the memorial complex, led by the co-author of the project Sashur Kalashyan, representatives of the contractor organization carrying out the construction, and responsible officials.

Minister Zhanna Andreasyan was presented with the current condition of the roofs of the museum and the museum's administrative section, the progress of the renovation, and the deadlines for the completion of the construction works were clarified. The Minister stressed that during the renovation, the museum's operation must be ensured without disruption.

Zhanna Andreasyan also emphasized the importance of the consistent efforts of the specialists to carry out the work with high quality and on time.
