Military Cadets' Scholarships Nearly Equal to Salaries

In 2018, the scholarship for cadets was between 5,300 and 13,000 drams, with an additional 10,000 drams for excellent students.

In 2025, a cadet at a military academy, depending on their academic progress, can receive a scholarship of up to 75,000 drams in the 1st year, up to 100,000 drams in the 2nd year, up to 125,000 drams in the 3rd year, up to 150,000 drams in the 4th year, and up to 175,000 drams in the 5th year. These figures were presented by RA Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan in an interview with Public Television on October 24.

The minister also informed that the number of cadets at the Academy has increased by 26% compared to 2018.
