The Middle East Peace Summit has begun in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh, co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and US President Donald Trump. The conference is attended by the leaders and high-ranking representatives of more than 20 countries, gathering to discuss ways to establish a stable peace in the region.
The presidents of Turkey, Indonesia, France, Cyprus, and Azerbaijan, the Chancellor of Germany, the King of Jordan, the Emir of Qatar, the Prime Minister of Kuwait, the King of Bahrain, and the leader of Palestine are participating in the high-level forum.
The summit is also attended by the heads of government of Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Armenia, Greece, Hungary, Pakistan, Canada, Norway, and Iraq, and the Vice President of the UAE.
The event is also attended by the heads of international organizations, including the UN Secretary-General, the head of the League of Arab States, and the President of the European Council. In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, a representative of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ambassador of Japan in Cairo are present.
