Mher Grigoryan Discusses Economic Ties with Swiss Ambassador

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation, Andrea Barbara Baumann.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and wished her effective work.

The interlocutors discussed possible new directions for bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Switzerland. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the necessity of joint efforts by both countries to strengthen bilateral trade and economic ties.

Mher Grigoryan highlighted the importance of opening the Armenian-Swiss Hospitality Academy in Gyumri in cooperation with the Lausanne Hotel Management School and expressed gratitude for the development programs implemented by Switzerland in Armenia over the years.

Reference was also made to regional developments and the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative, emphasizing the efforts being made to strengthen regional connectivity.
