Mher Grigoryan Attends German Unity Day Reception

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan participated in an event organized on the occasion of the national holiday of Germany, the Day of Unity. The Deputy Prime Minister delivered a congratulatory message and wished the people of Germany peace and prosperity. Mher Grigoryan expressed hope that through joint efforts, the comprehensive cooperation between Armenia and Germany will continue to expand, aimed at strengthening the friendship and well-being of the two peoples.

"Armenia and Germany are connected not only by strong interstate ties but also by a common commitment to fundamental freedoms and the rule of law. The relations between our countries are based on trust and mutual respect," noted the Deputy Prime Minister.

Mher Grigoryan also recorded the consistent progress of cooperation between the two countries in recent years in areas of mutual interest and noted that Armenia deeply appreciates Germany's support for efforts aimed at strengthening peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

The Deputy Prime Minister also highly valued Germany's continued support for Armenia's democratic reforms, sustainable development, as well as the further deepening of the RA-EU partnership. In this context, he emphasized the importance of development programs implemented for years in priority sectors for the Government of the Republic of Armenia with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the KfW Development Bank.
