Merdzavan Shooting Survivor Regains Consciousness

Artsrun Galstyan, who was hospitalized after the Merdzavan shootings, has regained consciousness and has been questioned by an investigator. The Investigative Committee reports that a forensic medical examination has been ordered.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under several articles. During the preliminary investigation, forensic medical examinations have been appointed. Evidentiary and procedural actions are being carried out. To recall, on September 23, at 23:52, the police received an alarm that shots were fired on the Yerevan highway in the Merdzavan settlement of Armavir province; 2 people were killed, and one was injured.

One of the deceased is the head of the community, Valodya Grigoryan. The second person killed is police officer Karen Abrahamyan, who was not on duty at the time of the attack; he is Grigoryan's friend.
