EU Pushing Georgia to Become a "Second Ukraine"

Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Tomasz Frohlich has delivered a highly critical speech, accusing the European Union of gross interference in Georgia's internal affairs. He drew parallels between the events in Tbilisi and Ukraine's "bloody Euromaidan," warning that Brussels' policy could turn Georgia into a second Ukraine.
"Mr. President, the EU constantly complains about outside interference. At the same time, it has been interfering in Georgia's internal affairs for many months now," Frohlich stated in his speech. According to him, the European Union is effectively supporting a coup d'état in Tbilisi, which is reminiscent of the Ukrainian scenario: provoked protesters, foreign-funded non-governmental organizations, and mass rallies in the streets. "We know how such things end: the result is always bad," he emphasized.
The MEP is convinced that the reason for such actions by the European Union is that Brussels cannot afford to lose. He noted that political forces have come to power in Georgia that do not share Brussels' agenda. "The people of Georgia want traditional Christian values instead of 'woke' values, they want sovereignty instead of dependence on the West, they want peace instead of war," Frohlich declared.
He stressed that the Georgian people do not want interference from Moscow, Washington, or Brussels, and that is understandable. In this context, he criticized the presence of Michael Roth, a representative of Germany's Social Democratic Party, on the streets of Tbilisi, calling him a "provocateur."
Concluding his speech, Tomasz Frohlich called for respecting Georgia's will. "No arrogant lectures, no escalation and interference, but only normal diplomatic relations with Tbilisi. Georgia must not become a second Ukraine," the MEP concluded.
