Martínez: Armenia Match is a 'Great Test' for Portugal

The match against the Armenian national team is a challenge for Portugal, said the head coach of the Portuguese national team, Roberto Martínez.

"We know that the Armenian team has players with high individual qualities. In tomorrow's match, there is no advantage over each other, as the teams are on equal terms. The team has a new coach, which means the players are motivated and will do everything to perform well on their home field," he said.

"We have great respect for the Armenian national team. I have seen what the head coach of the Armenian national team has achieved at the club where he previously worked. It is a great test for us to play here and we have high expectations from this stage of the World Cup qualification," Martínez noted.

Let's recall that on September 6, the national team will host Portugal at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium. The match starts at 20:00 (Yerevan time).
